First off the point of the hot knife is to cleanly drop wax into the bottom of the smoking chamber, no scraping or using 2 tools to try to get the wax to drop. It works beautifully without wasting any product or making a mess, i cant understate its value. As for the peak pro I've tried a number of vaporizers and nothing comes close in quality. Your going to get the best hit possible but without the waste of an oil rig and hot nail, which (until the peak pro) has been the best overall hit even beating the pivot in vapor production but not flavor or vapor quality, but with the peak pro its a clear winner across all categories. With the peak pro your wax also goes farther then with other vapes so if your thinking of waiting remember, your only losing out on money the longer you wait so the sooner you buy it the sooner you can start saving money.
